Woah There!:

Lots of little previews going on today it would seem! There's more coming too, but for next week's update! I will at least say that so far, I'm staying on top of the video updates, the first one was publish to my YT, which can watch here at Teacup or Terror video link.

I also managed to get all the mail club merch completed and ordered so they'll be ready for March this time without having to wait till later in the month. I am still updating Patreon in terms of descriptions and visuals and some cleaning up, but should be done before February ends.

Lots of Updates:

So, between reaching page 200 and working on things in the background, it's been a bit emotional lately. I'm not only nearing is presenting my first YT videos of this particular creative series, but also hitting additional milestones in terms of completing pages well ahead of schedule. For example, as of this finally sunny Monday, I have ALL of March's pages complete and ready to go. I work on pages 2 hrs every morning except Sunday. That's my day off so I don't do any work at all. I also cleared out the patron rewards this past week too so that's been covered. Been slowly updating Patreon and making the necessary changes as I push forward with that as well.

Between Patreon and my efforts for the YT videos to come, I've been both a nervous and fearful wreck. It's that stage in creation where you just overly worry and the sense of doubt feels so massive that it feels almost crushing. I mean, Parallel Rift is also my child and though it only has a handful of fans I worry about it's future too. The goal still stands in producing books one day and if I can get enough pages done to be maybe 2-3 months ahead of schedule, I will continue the meager progress I've made thus far to the redone prologue and intro. Not to mention the edits that will be necessary for this website too. It sometimes feel like a lot and I have to break it down into more bite sized pieces, but even that seems difficult at times too.

And of course, now we have a tank on top of the other animals we have. So between work and animal care and decluttering, I'm honestly surprised I'm not tearing apart at the seams sometimes. It would be fantastic to grab some help, but with such little income, I can't afford to hire anyone to do even simple tasks, let alone help with editing or more time consuming tasks with comic pages. It's just me....and sometimes that alone is the most difficult reality. I don't really receive comments or feedback or anything of that nature either to know if I'm doing good or not, so it's all been on sheer gut instinct and horsing around, hoping it's alright. It's just how it will need to be I suppose until I reach my financial goals. If all my efforts pay off, that may happen at the end of this year, but till then, I have to work hard and keep making decisions that are sometimes not easy to do.

A New Journey:

I do have to say, as nice as it was to keep the Patreon the way it was in the past, the new changes that are happening are a bright new future. It gives me more time toward this project and that of my videos. Of which, the 2nd one has come out so if you're on Patreon, you do have early access to it (link above)

Other than that, the new journey we're also starting is a shrimp tank with the help of our friends. We only bought the rest of what we needed for it yesterday and put it all together. It still requires a month to settle and acclimate, build up the necessary bacteria before we get the shrimps themselves. We did get a booster to help speed up this time, but still, it will require a bit of a wait. Our friend was also extremely humble to gift us with one of their offspring snails that has a beautiful gray-blue shell. Right now, it has the tank all to itself! 

AND, guess what! I have officially completed page 200 of Parallel Rift!! That is absolutely huge for me and there's still much more of this journey to tell but I'm excited to keep sharing and I hope you all enjoy the journey as well.

Getting Dramatic:

With February now feeling like it's in full swing, I am back to my usual self. My birthday was this past Saturday and I spent the day enjoying company, cakes, and Skyrim XD It was a good day for me!

I'm still largely staying ahead of comic page creations and should be creating many more this month. Maybe even have the next couple months of pages completed! I am still hoping to reach 20 patrons so I can do 2x a week updates as I feel this chapter is a pretty exciting one. Very dramatic. Lots going on with characters showing off their skills and of course, the drama. Yes, here comes some drama! There will be some flashbacks, some beautiful spellwork and I've already created some pages I simply adore how they've turned out and can't wait to show everyone!

I am also doing fun videos recently too, which should be showing up on YT toward the end of February. I hope everyone will enjoy them as I have and maybe find some inspiration to help you stay creative too! Early access to these videos are also on Patreon, link above, just for a small plug and chug there.

I also completed my final paid commission, which you can see over on my Bluesky. A beautiful illustration of two fantasy canines I've drawn many times over the years by now and a beautiful ending illustration to the series as well as this chapter of my life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years in that commission endeavor and I appreciate everyone who has ever purchased anything from me. You guys are the angels and know that it has brought me to where I am today, a better and brighter artist. I hope to be able to provide more in the future through Patreon <3
