March Crunch Week:
I may not be online much this last week of March as I clear out the rest of my work list. I still have 3 comic pages to do, 2 patron rewards, and the illustrations for April. Not to mention, complete the video that was supposed to come out last week AND do the video for the March Prompt summary. So yeah, crunch week! Lots of work and not a lot of time. Most of it was my own doing because I was lacking motivation for a couple weeks so only did enough to check off on my daily list...even though I know I had time to do more  >.>

Yeah, yeah, lesson learned.
I did find some new methods to try come April to hopefully gain some huge productive days in less days. Essentially, what I did in college where you quite literally pump several classes of work into one single day. It's possible, but definitely requires planning and careful set up in order to survive such days, but I have 3 days planned in April for these hardcore work sessions. Nothing will disrupt me and I will use all my internal fight power to ensure my desire to be distracted doesn't rear its ugly head.

LASTLY, I'll be attending another furcon for my partner in early April. It shouldn't effect comic page posting, but letting you all know on the small chance it may. I have more than 2 months of pages ready, so in general, pages should post automatically...it's literally taken me 5 years to figure out this site can allow for set date postings >.< This would've been nice sooner, but ah well. So yeah. Though, for links to keep going properly, probably can only set 1 ahead post at a time, but that's enough.
Anyways...

Thank you!

Spring:
So, the day before it's the official first day of spring....we have...snow >.< Somehow, I'm not surprised. The weather has been pulling this for the past few years now where it is determined to do some last minute snow squalls in the middle to end of March. Luckily, it doesn't usually put the early spring flowers into shock, but eh, still don't like it.

In other news, my taxes are done and color me surprised, but I actually made my average of just over $3000 in terms of business. Given how quickly work had fallen off last year, I was not actually expecting to "break even" as I call it. If I make that much in a year as an artist right now, for me, without a solid art job, this is good. I do, of course, hope to change this fact through some of the new things I'm trying this year. The main aspect is staying the hell on top of Parallel Rift, of which, as of right now, I'm 4 months ahead of the public page posting schedule, so that's rather fantastic. A huge turnaround compared to last year where I was barely keeping up. I do hope to reach a specific goal soon and if I do, I'll reward everyone with a 2 page post to move things right along. As of this post, I'm currently working on page 25 of this chapter, and it's only about 1/2 way there...so this may end up being the longest chapter yet, or I may end up breaking it apart. We shall see. I still generally only work with a rough script and 5-8 pages at a time X'D. I don't recommend, but it works for me.

Other than that, one of our shrimp females we call The Pale Lady due to her pale coloring compared to the other shrimp in the tank, is pregnant. So, if all goes well, she'll be hatching kids in a couple weeks. Overall, the tank appears to be doing quite well. All our residents seem happy and healthy, no fights, so all is good and we hope to keep it that way.

This week will also have a new video coming out so look out for that. Remember that patrons are ahead of everything, from videos to comic pages and soon, a new patreon exclusive comic will also be arriving!

Thank you!

Taxes Soon!:
Will be doing taxes this week, so yay. We go to a person because I have little to no trust for those "free" tax filing programs, especially for as little as I make as a self employed person. I've had issues with those programs before and always end up having to pay money even though I don't make a lot. Like the usual for me is just barely around $3,000 but this past year, with how fast work dropped off the face of the earth, I didn't even make half that. Like I mentioned before, it's only thanks to my supporters and my spouse that I'm staying alive as is at all.

So as that fun little reminder, please do consider supporting my work. I do hope to begin updating this website a bit more. Add some more color, better buttons for things like Patreon and what not, so till then, thank you for your patience. The additional preview above shows the stickers for this month, featuring adorable peryton! I am still staying on top of the comic pages and will be prepping a new comic come April that will currently be Patreon exclusive, so look out for info on that. I do also hope to get some illustrations going again and will be finishing up the patron rewards soon.

Thank you!

Woah There!:
And Welcome into March!
Had a nice walk yesterday in the woods. Not much yet growing here. Still pretty early so not even the early bird spring flowers have started growing yet. Soon I hope. I did see a lot of good signs. Thick buds and some ground foliage coming up. Moss looked healthy and sprouting in the woods. It was a park we hadn't been to before, so we also explored an old dump pile. Had everything in there from old televisions to refrigerators, washing machines, kids' toys, baskets, bottles, etc. We ended up finding a surprisingly intact glass jug bottle once used for bleach. I learned they're called "growlers" but that may not be how it's spelled XD Either way, it was an interesting find and we took it home with us. Found some geocaches out that way too and sadly, didn't have anything to leave behind. Hadn't crossed my mind to check since we hadn't done geocaches in a few years. If we ended up on more woodsie walks, I'll have to consider it.
Otherwise, things are going largely very well thus far. This is mostly a content oriented month so I'll be producing as much as I can, including my prompts for March, of which I've already started. I have lots planned and some fears to overcome as well, but I'm going to work on it and press forward.
