New Comic: Triune:

With the launch of the new comic Triune to my Patreon, I'd say overall this month went pretty well. I'm still a long ways away from my support goals as I'm still aiming for around $200 a month on Patreon...and sadly I've been rolling backwards toward that goal rather than forward. I'll have to work hard on some of the advertising in a few days when May rolls around. I do hope that once I have everything for Mail Club this month, even if it is PR specific, I like where I'm going with it and excited to try out a couple new things. I don't expect that to be the reason it draws new members to my Patreon, but one can hope and dream. I still have to figure out what the special sauce is for me in order to gain some more support and reach those financial goals now that I'm not working. 

Here's at least a cute little sneak peek at the postcard print for May. I went more complex than intended, but I hope it'll make it that much more of a beautiful illustration.

This week as it's the end of April, there will also be an art summary over on Patreon. Other than the mail club arts and comic things, I still don't have any personal art to reveal as of yet, but know that I am working on things. It's not completely in the dumps, but just has been taking me a bit to get those gears actually moving. I also do hope to sketch more and push out some videos that really dive in a bit deeper toward what advice and ideas I can provide related to staying creative. I know timelapses are a little old school right now, though I'll still largely stick with them, but I do also want to do a few that will reveal my face and a bit more of the environment and habits I've taken up. So yeah, busy busy, lots to consider and I have a feeling May will also be a catch up month on the things and endeavors I have not yet completed. Patreon Rewards will also be starting this week, new bulletin, all that jazz.

New Comic: Triune:

The last full week of April is upon us already! Not only that, but this usually the busiest time for me as well. Mostly because I have everything going on during this time, from finishing up and ordering Mail Club goodies to setting up next month's Patreon Rewards and videos, and also, of course, comic pages! Been working real hard lately.

This month, I'm also introducing a new comic called Triune. It will currently be exclusive to Patreon till I can reach a comfortable buffer and then will create it's own website for it like how I did here for Parallel Rift. I'm not tech savvy when it comes to websites, so will most likely do it again through Blogger since I find it easy to set up, update, and adjust as needed. Though now that the host has moved, we'll see how things go and when I may be able to do this next website. I still have to adjust this one as well so will need to start planning for that too. 

See? Busy >.<

I'm almost a 1/4th of the way to my yearly goal for Parallel Rift comic pages!

More Content:

Another new week folks, another new page! Still rather far from being able to post comic pages 2x a week, but who knows, maybe one day. I did post a new video as well this past Saturday to both Youtube and Patreon.

I sadly forgot to add the tags for this video so I already know it will do poorly compared to the others. I do have a new video coming out this week, maybe even 2 new videos, depending on how quickly I can actually work and do edits. So we shall see. I'm still rather slow on the edits but am going to try a different way of recording my voice so hopefully I don't sound too quiet or like I'm half asleep all the time. It's generally difficult for me to sound "energetic" on mic as far as I feel when I hear it back. Every time I feel like I am sounding energetic in person, when I hear it back... it doesn't seem to capture it. Maybe it's just me or my brain being mean about it? Who knows.

Returned from the Con:

As I had mentioned prior (I think) I was gone from the 4th to the 8th to a convention for my partner. I was just a handler and he's was in his fursuit. Since his eyesight is bad in the suite, I'm his eyes and voice for many things, along with carrying necessary stuff like water and small fans to help keep him cool inside the suite. I'll be talking in more depth about the con in a video this week, so patrons will have early access to that. It's not he first one I've gone to as a handler for my partner, but this one was smaller and overall, it was good. 

Now I'm back to setting up my routines and work schedules. There's a lot to do, but I do feel I can make it without too much difficulty. Having that amount of time off really does help to reset your desire to work again. I did do some sketching while at the con, but since I'm personally limited in what I can carry, that's all it was, was just a few rough doodles. Other artists there definitely were making masterpieces and amazing sketches with fancy tools I do not have, but that's quite alright. All the things I needed for Mail Club this month also arrived. My budget was rather limited this time around, so I wasn't able to order a whole lot this time, so this month is just a postcard and a sticker. I was able to resolve some other issues and I do have enough saved up for the Mail Club next month so the order then should be much better and hopefully more interesting. I hope. I'm still struggling to gain new patrons, but I'm trying. Exhibiting as much patience as I can muster, but it's still hard sometimes when others far younger than I am are doing so much better. I won't give up though. Not yet at least.

Thank you for allowing me to indulge in silly, breaking up this rather serious flashback scene...of which I'm sure some of you may never read the same again XD You're welcome

And yes, that is Modris! Out of all people Apricot could have fetched, he found Modris. I do admit, while I enjoyed doing this particular power pose of Modris...trying to figure out how to draw Fiacre looking up was a nightmare. I think it turned out okay, but definitely not the best and doesn't entirely ready as I'd like it to. I do hope this flashback does what it's meant to do, which is to give more a sense of gravity and connection as to why Fiacre feels he owes it to the nekomata to do what is necessary to save him. It's a lot deeper than just fighting off the strange creature in Modris' teahouse. Some action is coming right up after this, along with a bit more bickering, so I hope that'll be a little fun too.
