Not Always About You Hun:

Mika going off again, showing his temper and assuming it's all about him...that could be a potential problem down the road I'm sure. Also, please don't hurt me for introducing something new again. I swear, it will be explained in time.

Vacation? What's That?!:

As the title reads, I'll be going a vacation here soon. Not long, just for a week. On Thursday, I'll upload another page to make up for it as well. We are super close to the end of this chapter, which also means, it's close for the public to be taking a break as well. I am slowly catching Patreon members back up with new pages from the new chapter and until that is complete, pages will be paused once this chapter is public. Public pages should begin again in December or January, we shall see. 

I am also still seeing if I can make my goal of reaching 200 pages this year of Parallel Rift! I'm super close, only about 15 pages away, which would mean around a third of chapter 5 would be complete then. We shall see. I do have some new things in store for Patreon come 2024 so if you're not a member now, keep an eye out for that information! You can join the Patreon for free to view Bulletins and occasional other free content like sketches and some older comic pages. 

Till then, thank you for everyone's support! With this year drawing to a fast close, my goals for 2024 will be wild and busy for sure! I have lots of new things to try and test. It should be fun too. I do hope to begin creating even more Parallel Rift merch then too with book 1 also nearly concluding as well. It's taken a long time to reach this point and still a far cry from being able to print the first book as I cannot afford it on my own at this time. Kickstarter is a no-go for this is a very niche story and I do not want to place such burdens on the few audience I have right now. So please bare with me. I hope you can be patient a bit longer till I can save up enough to print one day.

That October Chill:

Autumn...as much as I love it, I also hate it. This is the worst allergy time for me as the temperatures drop, the air chills, everything is damp and molding and the mushrooms are out spreading their spores like wildfire...my allergies go berserk! Just this past week I had a day where I barely completed anything because just one walk with the dogs outside, even though I wore a mask, triggered my allergies because a mask can't cover up things like your eyes. At least it only lasted for a day, so small blessings for that, but I do have to be careful. Stocked up on allergy meds now so hopefully should be good till this season passes. 

Other than that, going through a huge decluttering phase with my office and trying to clean things up and be more organized. It's hard to believe that 2024 is less than 3 months away! Where did the flippin time go this year? Though, honestly, 2023 was a trash year with nearly every social and some big companies making the dumpiest of moves this year, so yeah, I'd be more than glad to dump 2023 into the trash bin. I have plans for 2024 as well to keep working on bettering my mental health and I hope the things I've ordered for that year will help out greatly! One step at a time but we'll get there for sure!

Bittersweet:

I do have to admit, I have mixed feelings for the last day of the Renaissance Festival. I'm both happy it's over and sad at the same time. Happy because going every weekend for a month and half cut out a lot of time I could have used for work given we would wake very early in the morning (when I normally wake anyway) but then wouldn't return home till the sun was down. It put much of my schedule in the whacks so thus, that part makes me happy. On the sad side, it means another lengthy amount of time before we see our friends again and get to just feel...free. As I heard someone say, it's the only event I know of where people can be drunk off their butts, in the presence of children and weapons, but no one fights. Out of all the years and times we've gone to our local Ren.Fest. I never realized that till I had heard that statement. We also made some new friends and the costumes are always fantastic to see! It will be missed in its own way.

Though now, I am back to work and at least trying to re-establish my schedule again, get some payments coming in once more, and hopefully progressing toward a healthier and better future. I do feel largely better, but I do have a bit of a cough remaining and clearing my throat of gunk...so that's been fun (sarcasm if you couldn't tell). Anyway, I did hold off on a few things in order to complete other things, but if my calculations are correct for this month, plenty should still be completed and my Patrons should have a ball this month :3 mwahahaha!
